2000's

New challenges are considered. As part of its expansion in areas of Technical expertise , TE(PNG) was able to introduce Broadcast Radio into its services. This incorporates the design , supply of equipment and software , installation and maintenance of FM / AM radio stations. As the country grows , so does demand for this area of activity. The company has been successful in the application of many stations throughout PNG. Furthermore , the company has also included a broad range of Musical Instruments in its range of Retail products i.e. Amplifiers,Keyboards, Pro Audio, Mixers ,Microphones, Speakers, Guitars, Drum Kits and Studio equipment etc.

By the mid 2000s an increasing usage of Hardware and software products resulted in the establishment of an ICT ( Information Communications and Technology) Division. The ICT Division sells and support computers ,notebooks ,printers, photocopiers, accessories and peripherals – and IT to the Broadcast and Communications Divisions.

With an ongoing need to Import products from a number of countries, it was decided that the company should be able to handle its own Imports. This has led to the establishment of a Customs Agents Department. As well as clearing of its own cargo , both Airfreight and Sea freight, the company now offers services to companies throughout the country - from both Port Moresby and Lae offices.

By 2005 , it had become obvious that the existing showroom and office facilities in Port Moresby were inadequate. Plans were drawn up to almost double the existing areas. As expected this took some time to implement with construction being completed late 2008. The fitout was finished by mid 2009. With extra offices , a boardroom , lounge and new signage , the premises are now complete.In the early part of 2009 , the Lae showroom was improved with the addition of a mezzanine showroom area. Based on the same principles of layout as Port Moresby, the two facilities are now considered some of the best in PNG
